Following implementation of the new Transparency Directive II Regulation Centrica plc (“the Company”) received notice from Schroders plc on 27 November 2015 (under the obligations imposed by Section 5 of the FCA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules) that on 26 November 2015, Schroder Investment Management Limited had a notifiable interest in 289,823,318 ordinary shares of 614/81 pence each in the Company, representing approximately 5.72% of the Company’s issued share capital.
