Notification of Major Interests in Shares

Centrica plc (“the Company”) received notice on 24 February 2015 (under the obligations imposed by Section 5 of the FCA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules), that on 20 February 2015, Aberdeen Asset Managers Limited had a notifiable interest in 244,065,649 ordinary shares of 614/81 pence each in the Company, representing approximately 4.91% of the Company’s issued share capital.
