The Company announces that Directors and other Persons Discharging Managerial

Responsibility (PDMR’s) acquired Centrica plc ordinary shares of 614/81 pence (Shares) through the reinvestment of the Company’s dividend of 12.08 pence per share paid on

11 June 2014, as follows:

(1) Equiniti Share Plan Trustees Limited (the ‘Trustee’), as Trustee of the Centrica Share Incentive Plan (the ‘Plan’), purchased the following Shares in the Company at a price of 331.70 pence under the Plan’s Dividend Share scheme on 11 June 2014:
