Director external appointment change
In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14(2) and further to the announcement made today by Lloyds Banking Group plc, Centrica plc announces that Scott Wheway, Chair of Centrica plc, has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Lloyds Banking Group plc and as a Non-Executive Director of Scottish Widows Group with effect from 1 August 2022 and, subject to regulatory approval, as Chair of Scottish Widows Group with effect from 12 September 2022.
Centrica plc further notes that, as announced by AXA UK plc today, Mr Wheway has, following completion of his term as Chair of AXA UK plc, today retired from that role and resigned all positions held with AXA UK.
Mr Wheway remains Chair of Centrica plc.
