ANNOUNCEMENT ON ESTIMATED PROFIT INCREASE IN ANNUAL RESULTS FOR THE YEAR OF 2020
This announcement is made by the board of directors (the “ Board ”) of Central China Securities Co., Ltd (the “ Company ”) pursuant to Rules 13.09 and 13.10B of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the “ Listing Rules ”) and the Inside Information Provisions (as defined under the Listing Rules) under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong).
I. ESTIMATED RESULTS FOR THIS PERIOD
(I) Period covered by the estimated results
1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020.
(II) Estimated results

Based on preliminary calculation by the finance department of the Company, the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company for the year of 2020 is estimated to be RMB95.9426 million to RMB113.9426 million, representing an increase of RMB37.7199 million to RMB55.7199 million, or 64.79% to 95.70%, as compared with RMB58.2227 million for the corresponding period last year.

The net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company net of non-recurring gains and losses is estimated to be RMB93.5904 million to RMB111.5904 million, representing an increase of RMB74.4324 million to RMB92.4324 million, or 388.52% to 482.47%, as compared with RMB19.1580 million for the corresponding period last year.

II. RESULTS FOR THE CORRESPONDING PERIOD LAST YEAR

(I) Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company: RMB58.2227 million. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company net of nonrecurring gains and losses: RMB19.1580 million.

III. MAIN REASONS FOR THE ESTIMATED PROFIT INCREASE FOR THIS PERIOD
In 2020, with the continuous improvement in multi-tiered capital market and the steady advancement of basic system reforms, the securities market continued to pick up. The Company strived to increase its capital strength with continued progress being made in the reforms. The principal businesses showed steady development and revenue generated from securities brokerage business, margin financing and securities lending business and investment business of certain subsidiaries increased.
