Share Purchase Plan Closes

Glengarry Resources Limited (ASX Code: GGY) is pleased to advise that the Share Purchase Plan announced on 18 September 2006 has now closed raising \$624,166.

The Company will allot 14,861,000 fully paid ordinary shares on Wednesday 11 October 2006. The funds from the SPP, along with \$1,008,000 raised in the recently completed placement, will be used to fund further exploration of the Company's projects.
