Int e rnational ir o n ore comp a ny Centaurus Metals L t d (ASX Cod e : CTM) toda y announce d that Mr G e off Clifford has advised of his intentio n to step d o wn from hi s position a s a non‐exe c utive Direc t or with the Company, eff e ctive imme d iately, to e n able him to spend mor e time with his family.

Centaurus would like to th a nk Mr Cliff o rd for his s ignificant c o ntribution t o the Com p any over a number of yea r s, initially as a Director of Glengarr y Resources prior to its s uccessful m erger with C entaurus i n 2009, and mo r e recently f o r his input t o the merg e d group’s ir o n ore development str a tegy in sou t h‐eastern B r azil.

“I w ould like t o take this opportunity o n behalf o f the Board, manageme n t and staff to thank G e off for his val u able and co n structive i n put over a number of y e ars,” said C e ntaurus’ Chairman, Mr D idier Murcia.

“Geoff is well k n own throu g hout the m i ning indust r y and has a very distinguished care e r and track record. He has made this decision to enable hi m to spend m ore time w ith his fa m ily and to focus on h i s personal interests, and w e wish him w ell for the f uture,” he s a id.

The Company e x pects to an n ounce the a ppointmen t of a new Director in th e near futur e as a repre s entative of Atl a s Iron follo w ing the rec e ntly annou n ced strategic alliance a n d 19.9 per cent share pl a cement to t he leading iro n ore produc e r.
