New Company Secretary Appointed
The directors of Glengarry Resources Limited are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Geoffrey James as Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer commencing on 19 March 2007. The appointment is a new full time position.
Mr James is a Chartered Accountant and a member of Chartered Secretaries Australia. He has approximately 20 years experience and is currently the Group Financial Accountant with Clough Limited where he has been employed since January 1996. Clough is one of Australia's largest multi-disciplinary engineering and construction groups and operates globally in sectors such as oil and gas, minerals, infrastructure and property.
The fulltime appointment of Mr James will greatly assist Glengarry's plans to grow the Company which is currently exploring for gold, base metal and uranium on a number of projects in Australia.
Current Joint Company Secretaries, Mr Des Kelly and Ms Janelle Burns who have been operating in a part time role; will formally step down on 30 March 2007. The Directors of Glengarry would like to acknowledge the contribution that Mr Kelly and Ms Burns have made to the Company over the past year and wish them well with their future endeavours.
