ANNOUNCEMENT APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The directors of Glengarry Resources Limited are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Ian Gordon as a Non-Executive Director of the company.
Ian is a professional mining administrator with a proven track record in land access, new business development and administration for major Australian and international mining companies. Ian has an in depth knowledge of mineral and corporate regimes in Australia, SE Asia, western and southern Africa and North and South America.
In March 2004, Ian established himself as a consultant to the mining and exploration industry providing advice on land access. Immediately prior to this, Ian was the Manager – Land Access at Gold Fields Australia Pty Ltd where he was responsible for native title and heritage issues, joint venture negotiations and tenement administration. Ian has also held senior management positions at AurionGold Limited and Delta Gold Limited.
Ian's appointment will complement Glengarry's existing board including Allan Harris (Chairman and Company Secretary), David Richards (Managing Director) and Tony Alston (Exploration Director).
The directors of Glengarry Resources Limited announce that Mr M J Glasson has resigned as a director of the company and its wholly owned subsidiaries. The board and staff at Glengarry express their appreciation to Mr Glasson for the significant contribution he has made to the company during his term of office.
