Durch die Vertragsunterzeichnung eröffnet sich die am Neuen Markt notierte Gesellschaft den Zugang zum weltweit wichtigsten IT-Marktund stärkt damit nachhaltig ihre Marktposition als global agierendes Systemhaus. Aus der Übernahme ergibt sich eine Vielzahl wertvoller Synergieeffekte. So kann CENIT mit Niederlassungen an den Standorten Montreal, Toronto, Charlotte, Detroit und Mexiko City seine international tätigen Kunden künftig auch in Nordamerika umfassend betreuen. Darüber hinaus werden alle Unternehmen innerhalb der CENIT-Gruppe vom bestehenden Know-how Vorsprung in Nordamerika profitieren. Das gilt vor allem für Entwicklung und Einsatz von Web-Technologien. L&H Consultants Inc. mit derzeit rund 160 Mitarbeitern wird im Geschaftsjahr 2000 einen Umsatz von rund 16 Millionen EUR erwirtschaften. Zum internationalen Kundenkreis von L&H gehören namhafte Unternehmen wie Boeing, Bombardier, DaimlerChrysler, Honda, Ferrari und Hyundai. Nach Desktop Engineering Ltd. in England und Spring Techologies S.A. in Frankreich tätigt CENIT damit die dritte Akquisition seit Jahresbeginn. Eine konsolidierte Planung, die die Effekte aus den Übernahmen berücksichtigt, wird der Vorstand bis Mitte des Jahres vorlegen. ———————————————– ———————————————– CENIT gains a foothold in the North American market Acquisition of L&H Consultants successfully completed CENIT AG has successfully completed the deal to acquire one hundred per cent of L&H Consultants Inc., Montreal, Canada. By putting its signature to the take-over contract, this Neue Markt-listed company gains access to the world’s most important IT market, thus strengthening its market position as a global player. The take-over will generate a number of major synergies. With branches in Montreal, Toronto, Charlotte, Detroit and Mexico City, CENIT will be in the position to support its customers comprehensively in North America. Furthermore, all enterprises in the CENIT group will benefit from the know-how lead in North America. This applies in particular to the development and application of web technologies. With a staff of about 150, L&H Consultants Inc. will make about EUR 16 million in fiscal 2000. The company’s international clientele includes famous names like Boeing, Bombardier, DaimlerChrysler, Honda, Ferrari and Hyundai. After Desktop Engineering Ltd. in England and Spring Technologies S.A. in France, this is CENIT’s third acquisition since the beginning of the year. A consolidated plan showing the consequences of these take-overs will be presented by the board of management by mid- year.
