Für den Inhalt der Mitteilung ist allein der Emittent verantwortlich. —————————————————————————— CENIT AG legt vorläufige Zahlen für 1999 vor Die CENIT AG Systemhaus hat heute ihre vorläufigen Zahlen für das Geschäftsjahr 1999 vorgelegt. Danach stieg der Umsatz des am Neuen Markt notierten Unternehmens um rund 29 Prozent auf 79,6 Millionen Euro (1998: 61,6 Millionen Euro). Der Rohertrag wuchs um rund 34 Prozent auf 40,6 Millionen Euro (1998: 30,3 Millionen Euro). Erfreulich entwickelte sich ebenfalls der Gewinn je Aktie. Auf vergleichbarer Berechnungsbasis erhöhte er sich von 0,58 Euro auf 0,69 Euro. Das entspricht einem Plus von 18,6 Prozent. Das operative Ergebnis konnte auf 5,7 Millionen Euro (1998: 5,0 Millionen Euro) gesteigert werden. Die Zahl der Beschäftigten im Konzern stieg zum 31.12.1999 um 125 auf insgesamt 440 (1998: 315). Strategische Ausrichtung auf Internet-Technologien “Web-Technologien eröffnen unseren Kunden mit Business-to-Business Lösungen enorme Möglichkeiten”, so Engelmann. “Diese Themen werden alle unsere Geschäftsfelder in Zukunft inspirieren. Durch umfassendes Know-how in unseren drei Segmenten e-business, CAD/CAM-Solutions und IT-Services werden wir dabei in Zukunft eine immer bedeutendere Rolle spielen. Investitionen in Internet- Technologien schreiben wir in den kommenden Jahren groß”. Wachstum steht im Vordergrund Im Geschäftsjahr 2000 rechnet der Vorstand mit einem Umsatz von zirka 112 Millionen Euro sowie einem operativen Ergebnis von rund 8,4 Millionen Euro. Auch in den darauf folgenden Jahren wird Wachstum an erster Stelle stehen. Mittelfristig ist ein durchschnittliches Wachstum von rund 40 Prozent pro Jahr unser Ziel. Weitere Details zum Geschäftsjahr 1999 wird die CENIT AG Systemhaus bei ihrer Bilanzpressekonferenz am 28. März in Stuttgart bekanntgeben. —————————————————————– —————————————————————– CENIT AG presents preliminary figures for 1999 CENIT AG Systemhaus – a company with a Neuer Markt listing presented its preliminary figures for the fiscal year 1999 today. These show that the company ‘s sales rose by approximately 29 to Euro 79.6 million (1998: Euro 61.6 million). Gross profit rose by about 34 percent to Euro 40.6 million (1998: Euro 30.3 million). There was also a gratifying development in earnings per share. On a comparable basis, earnings rose from Euro 0.58 to Euro 0.69 per share. This corresponds to an increase of 18.6 percent. Operating earnings were boosted to Euro 5.7 million (1998: Euro 5.0 million). With 125 new people the company throughout the group increased the workforce as on December 31st 1999 to a total of 440 (1998: 315). Strategic orientation to Internet technologies “Web technologies open up enormous possibilities to our customers by offering them business-to-business solutions”, said Engelmann. “These issues will inspire all our areas of activity in future. Through comprehensive know-how in our three segments – e- business, CAD/CAM-Solutions and IT-Services – we shall be playing an increasingly important role in future. Investments in Internet technologies will be written large in the coming years.” Growth stands in the foreground In the fiscal year 2000, the board of management reckons with sales of about Euro 112 million, and operating earnings of about Euro 8.4 million. Growth will continue to hold priority in the years thereafter. Our medium-term goal is an average growth rate of about 40 percent per year.
