WAIVER OF OBLIGATION TO PROCEED WITH TAKEOVER ON SHARES IN CEMAT A/S

The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority has decided based on a request by
National Silicon Industry Group (“NSIG”) to waive the obligation of NSIG to
proceed with the takeover offer on the shares in the Company.

Following this decision, NSIG has announced that they will not issue such
takeover offer.

The decision from The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority is attached.
