NEW CEO APPOINTED

Cemat A/S today appointed Abdelmottaleb Doulan as new CEO of Cemat A/S.

Abdelmottaleb Doulan has been part of the Cemat group for the last 5 years, and holds the position as CEO for the Polish real estate business Cemat 70 S.A. as well as for the divested company Topsil Global Wafers, Poland.

"As Cemat 70 S.A. is the only business activity of Cemat A/S, and since Cemat A/S otherwise has no employees, the appointing of Abdelmottaleb Doulan as CEO of Cemat A/S is a natural step and ensures that the setup in the Danish holding company is as lean and efficient as possible", Chairman Jens Borelli-Kjær says.

Abdelmottaleb Doulan, born in Tunisia but having lived in Poland for more than 25 years and today being a Polish citizen, holds MSc degree in Engineering from Technological University of Lodz Poland.

The former management board consisting of CEO Kalle Hvidt Nielsen, CFO Jesper Bodeholt and CSO Michael Lisby Jensen will as of today resign from the management board and going forward the management board will only consist of Abdelmottaleb Doulan. This is fully in line with the plan of trimming the cost base and the severance agreements entered into with the old management board of Cemat A/S (announcement 25/16).
