Karl Kristian Hvidt Nielsen new Topsil CEO

Topsil Semiconductor Materials A/S today signed an agreement with Karl Kristian
Hvidt Nielsen, who will take up employment as new Topsil CEO as of 1 January
2012.

Karl Kristian Hvidt Nielsen is the successor of Managing Director ad interim,
Jørgen Bødker, who replaced Keld Lindegaard Andersen, 27 October 2011.

”Karl Kristian Hvidt Nielsen is a very competent and hands-on CEO. He has broad
experience from technology companies and has achieved a vast number of
impressive results” says Chairman of Topsil, Jens Borelli-Kjær.

Karl Kristian Hvidt Nielsen (born 1964) has most recently been CEO at Bang &
Olufsen A/S. During his time of employment 2008-2011, he headed a successful
company turn-around.

During 1998-2008 he was employed at Brüel & Kjær A/S, since 2001 as CEO.

Karl Kristian Hvidt Nielsen holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering and is BCom
in Marketing.
