EXPLANATORY NOTE

On August 2, 2017, Cellectis S.A. (“Cellectis”) filed a report on Form 6-K, which included Cellectis’ interim report for the quarter and six-month period ended June 30, 2017 (the “Interim Report”). As noted in the Interim Report, Cellectis omitted segment financial information, pending the filing of Calyxt, Inc.’s initial quarterly report on Form 10-Q. This Form 6-K supplements the Interim Report with such segment financial information.
