US Select Private Opportunities Fund (Fund) ASX Code: USF Fund Update

On 5 July 2016, US Select Private Opportunities Fund, L.P. – the limited partnership through which the Fund makes investments in underlying private equity funds – confirmed its intention to make a third distribution of US$5.0 million to its partners as the result of successful sales in underlying investments by US Select Direct Private Equity LP, Encore Consumer Capital Fund II, LP and Incline Equity Partners III, LP. The Fund’s share of this distribution is US$4.3 million. At current exchange rates, this equates to approximately $5.8 million or $0.15 per unit.

Once the net proceeds of the sales have been received and converted to Australian dollars, the Fund will determine the amount and timing of a third distribution to investors. It should be noted that changes in market conditions, including but not limited to exchange rates, will impact on the determination of the amount to be distributed.
