Notice of Commitment of Funds to the US Select Private Opportunities Fund, LP (LP)

Dixon Advisory & Superannuation Services Ltd ( Dixon Advisory ), in its capacity as Responsible Entity, is pleased to announce the US Select Private Opportunities Fund ( Fund ) has committed an amount of US$60 million to the LP. Together with the US$10 million commitment of Cordish Private Ventures, this brings the total assets of the LP to US$70 million.

The LP initially secured the opportunity to invest US$8 million in Prometheus Partners IV ( Prometheus ), L.P, a newly established private investment fund that focuses on Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and IHOP nationally franchised restaurants in the United States ( US ). Due to the successful oversubscription the Fund achieved during its initial public offering, the LP has increased this commitment to US$10 million.

The Fund is also pleased to confirm that it has secured a US$10 million investment in Trivest Partners V, L.P ( Trivest ), a US-based private investment fund which will focus on well-run family/founder-owned businesses that are seeking transition ownership. Trivest has operated in the small and mid-market space for over 30 years and developed a proprietary strategy and database for sourcing attractive investments. Trivest has completed 170 transactions for a total value of US$4.6 billion.

With the Prometheus and Trivest investments, the LP is now 29% committed. The Fund can confirm it has transferred a total consideration of AU$28 million into a US-dollar denominated bank account, equivalent to US$29 million. The remaining commitment will be transferred in due course.
