Appointment of Independent Non-Executive Director

C&C Group plc (‘C&C’ or the 'Group’), a leading, vertically integrated premium drinks company which manufactures, markets and distributes branded beer, cider, wine, spirits and soft drinks across the UK and Ireland, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Vineet Bhalla as an Independent Non-Executive Director. Vineet’s appointment, effective immediately, follows a thorough recruitment process led by the Nomination Committee, in conjunction with international executive search firm, Audeliss.

Vineet is a highly experienced digital and technology professional, with over 25 years of experience across multiple sectors including, consumer goods, retail, health and defence. Until March 2021, Vineet was Chief Technology Officer and a Senior Vice President of Burberry plc. He previously held global roles for Unilever as Head of IT for their digital marketing and research & development divisions; and had led data-driven and digital transformations at scale. Vineet is also a Non-Executive Director of Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and serves as Chair of the Trust’s People and Culture Committee.
