Dublin, London | 14 May, 2013: C&C Group plc ("C&C" or the "Group"), a manufacturer, marketer and distributor of branded cider and beer, announces that John Burgess, who had previously announced his intention to step down as a non-executive Director, will retire from the Board with effect from close of business today.

Sir Brian Stewart, Chairman, commented, "On behalf of the Board and the Group, I would like to thank John for his contribution to the development of the Group dating back to his initial involvement in 1998. We wish John well for the future."
