The Company is pleased to announce that an Option Agreement has been entered into with Sammy Resources Pty Ltd (“Sammy”) a wholly owned subsidiary of Cazaly Resources Ltd on exploration licence EL69/2229 and EL69/2230 within Traka’s Musgrave Project Area (Figure 1). These licences are considered to be particularly prospective for Copper, Nickel and PGE’s (the platinum group of elements).

Historic exploration work on these licences is relatively limited but they occupy the highly prospective ground abutting Traka’s existing holdings in the Musgrave Project as well as being proximal to BHP Billiton’s Babel and Nebo Prospect.

The principal terms of the Option Agreement with Sammy provide for Traka to have an election to purchase 90% of the exploration licence on the following terms:

  • Immediate payment of a $25,000 Option Fee for a 4 year Option Period.

  • An election right held by Traka to exercise the Option at any time during the Option Period by payment of $250,000 and agreeing to Free Carry Sammy’s remaining 10% equity in the licences through to completion of a Feasibility Study.

  • Traka to maintain the licence in good standing and to negotiate access with the Ngaanyatjarra Council and Traditional owners onto the land.

The agreement with Sammy represents a further commitment by Traka to build a strategic position in the highly prospective Musgrave region of Western Australia.
