Sub: Intimation under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015

This is to inform the Exchanges that the Board of Directors of Castrol India Limited (“Company”) has appointed Mr. Udayan Sen (DIN: 02083527) as a Non‐Executive, Nominee Director on the Board of the Company with effect from 2 April 2020.

It is further informed that Mr. Udayan Sen is not debarred from holding the office of Director by the virtue of any SEBI order and/or order from any other authority. He is not related to any Director of the Company.

His brief profile is as follows:

  1. Mr. Udayan Sen is a finance professional with 28 years of industry experience with last 21 years at BP Plc. With an open and inclusive leadership style and a passion for people and relationships, he held leadership roles across multiple functions in BP Group, including Group Planning & Strategy, Business Development in New Markets including new geographic entries and Global & Regional Finance. He also held position of CFO, Southern Africa Fuels from 2015 to 2018. He is recognized for leading the business and finance agenda by working closely with stakeholders across functions and geographies.

  2. Mr. Udayan Sen joined Castrol India in 1999. He had previously worked in various roles in finance, covering segment planning and performance management, new markets business development and strategy, group strategy and planning, within BP Group across four continents, before rejoining Castrol Lubricants as the Chief Financial Officer from 1 January 2020. Before rejoining Castrol Lubricants, he held the position of CFO of Aspac Fuels & Air BP, which is based in Melbourne, Australia.

  3. Mr. Sen is a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata (1989) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India since 1992. Prior to joining Castrol India in 1999, Mr. Sen has worked with ITC Limited (from 1992) and Unilever India (from 1995) where he joined as Management Trainee.
