Interim Management Statement and AGM

Castings plc will be holding its Annual General Meeting this afternoon and at the meeting the Chairman, Brian Cooke, will make the following statement.

We are still enjoying the improving demand from our customers in the commercial vehicle industry as stated in the annual report and we expect this to continue for the next few months.

There also appears to be signs of improvements in the economic problems in Europe and the rest of the world and it is hoped that we benefit from these improvements and continue to enjoy improved sales throughout the financial year.  However we remain cautious of the potential impact of the new European emissions legislation in 2014 as previously reported.
