Carrefour moves forward with its project to create a company for shopping malls adjacent to its hypermarkets in Europe

Following the announcement on December 16, 2013 that they had entered into exclusive negotiations, Carrefour today signed a binding agreement with Klépierre to acquire 127 shopping centers adjacent to its hypermarkets in Europe.

The transaction is subject to approval by the relevant regulatory authorities. It should close in the first half of 2014.
