Georges Plassat, Carrefour's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, proposed to the Board of Directors, which accepted his proposal, the appointment of two Deputy Chief Executive Officers to temporarily assist him during his recovery following a surgical procedure: Pierre-Jean Sivignon, Chief Financial Officer, and Jérôme Bédier, General Secretary. They each retain their current responsibilities and remain in close contact with Georges Plassat.

The members of the Board of Directors warmly wish Georges Plassat a quick recovery.

Georges Ralli was also appointed Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
