("Card Factory" or the "Company")

Notification of transactions of directors and persons discharging managerial responsibilities

Card Factory has been notified that on 31 May 2017, the Company's CFO, Darren Bryant (and his connected persons) sold, in aggregate, 4,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 329p per share. Mr Bryant's (and his connected persons') beneficial interest in the Company's shares following this sale is 1,781,713 ordinary shares, equating to 0.52% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.

Full details of the transactions are set out below. The transactions took place on the London Stock Exchange.
