Appointment of Group Finance Director Designate

Carclo plc ("Carclo" or the "Group"), a global manufacturer of fine tolerance injection moulded plastic parts mainly for the medical, automotive lighting and optics markets, announces the appointment of Paul Below as Group Finance Director designate.

Paul Below is a Chartered Accountant and a highly experienced interim finance director, with a strong track record of delivery in turnaround situations across a variety of industries in the publicly listed, private equity and family owned company environments.

Paul starts with immediate effect and after a suitable hand-over period will become the Group Finance Director, and join the Board, when the current Group Finance Director, Sarah Matthews-DeMers, leaves the Group in October as previously announced. It is currently planned that Paul will fill the Group Finance Director role on an interim basis whilst the ongoing restructuring of the Group is completed and a platform from which to set the long-term strategy is established.

Paul will be attending the Annual General Meeting on 25 September for shareholders wishing to meet him.

Other than being a director of Celette Holdings Limited and Parkside International Limited at the time they were placed into administration on 5 March 2001 and 23 December 2004 respectively, Paul has confirmed that there is no further information required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph LR 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules of the Financial Conduct Authority.
