New Director and Chairman Appointed

Carbonxt Group Ltd (ASX:CG1 or Company) is pleased to announce the appointment of Bruce Hancox as a Director. Mr Hancox will also assume the role of Chairman of the Company, replacing Matthew Quinn on the board.

Mr Hancox has had a long and distinguished career in business in New Zealand and Australia and was for many years involved with Brierley Investments Limited as General Manager and Chairman. He also served as a director of many Brierley subsidiaries in New Zealand, Australia and the United States. From the 1990’s he pursued various private investment interests. Since 2008 he has been a financial advisor to interests of Lang Walker and has been a director of a number of Australian listed public companies.

Mr Hancox is a representative of the Company’s largest shareholder, the Walker group of companies. As a representative of that group, he is therefore not an independent director and the Company will look to appoint an additional independent director in the new year.
