Non Executive Director – Ian Law

Dear Sir/Madam,

It is with sadness that the Board of carsales.com Ltd. advise that non‐executive Director Ian Francis Law passed away in the early hours of Monday morning. Ian had been battling cancer for some time.

Ian was a member of the carsales Board initially as a representative of Nine Entertainment where he was CEO. He served in this capacity from February 2007 until he resigned from Nine Entertainment in November 2010. Six months later, the carsales Board asked that he re‐join as an Independent Director which he has been ever since.

carsales.com’s Managing Director Greg Roebuck commented on behalf of the entire Board: “Ian was the consummate Director. He was incredibly knowledgeable, supportive and able to deal with issues with wonderful empathy and humour. His passion for the business was always evident and he was a major contributor to the success the business enjoys.

He was a mentor and a dear friend to each member of the Board and he will be enormously missed. The thoughts of the Board and the staff of carsales are with Ian’s family and friends.”
