Interests of Executive Directors in the Company's Shares

Cairn announces that on 20 March 2013, Simon Thomson, Chief Executive and Dr Mike Watts, Deputy Chief Executive have each purchased 17,636 and Jann Brown, Managing Director & CFO has purchased 8,818 Ordinary Shares of 231/169 each in the Company, all at a price of £2.835 per share.

Following this announcement, the above mentioned executive directors' beneficial interests in the Ordinary Shares of the Company are as follows:-
