Interests of Executive Directors in the Company's Shares

Cairn announces that on 24 March 2014, Simon Thomson, Chief Executive and Dr Mike Watts, Deputy Chief Executive each purchased 65,965 and Jann Brown, Managing Director & CFO purchased 16,490 Ordinary Shares of 231/169 each in the Company, all at a price of £1.504 per share.

Following the purchase, the above mentioned executive directors' beneficial interests in the Ordinary Shares of the Company are as follows:-
