Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

On April 27, 2022, Capital Southwest Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its dividend for the quarter ended June 30, 2022. The press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.

Item 8.01 Other Events.

On April 27, 2022, the Company’s board of directors declared a total dividend of $0.63 per share of common stock for the quarter ended June 30, 2022, comprised of a regular dividend of $0.48 per share and a special dividend of $0.15 per share. The dividend is payable on June 30, 2022 to shareholders of record on June 15, 2022.
