Capita Board Update

Capita plc (Capita) today announces that following nearly nine years as Non-Executive Director and latterly seven as Chairman, Martin Bolland has indicated to the Board that he intends to stand down by 31 December 2016, or on the earlier appointment of a successor.

Martin joined the Board on 1 March 2008 and was appointed Senior Independent Director later that year. He was appointed Chairman with effect from 1 January 2010.

Gillian Sheldon, Senior Independent Director, is leading a search process for a successor and external head hunters have been appointed.
