Parkash Thapar, aged about 57 years and currently residing at 762/2, Premjeet Road, Gurdev Nagar, Ludhiana-141001 (hereinafter referred to as "one of the Promoter") of M/s Thapar Ispat Limited ("the Company" or "the ELC"), on behalf of the Promoters of Thapar Ispat Limited, to provide an exit opportunity to the Public Shareholders of the Company in terms of the circular issued by Securities & Exchange Board of India ("SEBI") bearing no. SEBI /HO /MRD /DSA /CIR/P/2016/110 dated 10th October. 2016 and further amendments/circulars issued thereafter
The equity shares of your Company were listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE) and was later on shifted to the Dissemination Board ("DB") of BSE Limited ("BSE") vide their public notice dated 1st June, 2017.
SEBI, vide its aforesaid circular has stipulated the procedure for exit of Exclusively Listed Companies ("ELCs") from the DB. In terms of para (i) of Annexure A of the Exit Circular, the Promoter has appointed Almondz Global Securities Limited, a Category-I Merchant Banker registered with SEBI and empanelled as an Expert Valuer on the panel of BSE ("Independent Valuer") for valuation of shares of the Company and related services. The said Independent Valuer, after taking into account the applicable valuation methodologies, has issued its valuation report dated 4th July-2020 and determined the fair value of One Equity Share of the Company as INR (38.40) (Negative Indian Rupees Thirty Eight and forty paisa only).
As the fair value of equity shares of the company is negative, thus as per the aforesaid SEBI Circular and guidelines issued by BSE, in this behalf, the Company is applying to BSE Limited for removal of its name from Dissemination Board of BSE Ltd. without giving any exit option/offer to public shareholders. Since the value of equity shares of the company is negative, the promoters are not liable to acquire the shares of public shareholders. Further, neither the Promoters, nor the Company or its Directors have liability to make any payment to the public shareholders.
Other Details:
Shareholding: As on the date of this Exit Offer PA, the issued equity capital of the company is 1,32,36,730 equity shares of Rs. 10 each aggregating to Rs. 13,23,67,300 (Rupees thirteen crores twenty three lakhs sixty seven thousand three hundred only). Out of this, fully paid up equity share capital of the Company is Rs. 6,12,50,180 consisting of 61,25,018Equity Shares of Rs. 10 each and 71,11,712 partly paid up equity shares aggregating to Rs. 1,77,79,280/-. Total calls in arrears as on 31st March. 2020 were Rs. 5,33,37,840/- (Rupees Five crores thirty three lakhs thirty seven thousand eight hundred forty only). Out of total capital, Promoters collectively hold 71,05,649 Equity Shares representing 53.69% of the Paid up Equity Share Capital and balance 61,31,081 Equity Shares representing 46.31% of the Paid up Equity Share Capital are held by Public Shareholders.

Bond markets would still need RBI's support to smoothly fund 12% govt fiscal deficit in FY21.
Analysts expect the RBI to buy around $\bar{\bar{\tau}}$ 3 lakh crore of govt bonds in 2H FY21, over and above ₹1.8 lakh crore of purchases since late March. These purchases are likely to be via OMO or Twist operations depending on how excess liquidity evolves in coming months, but a one-off fiscal transfer is unlikely amid rating downgrade con-BLOOMBERG cerns.

Housing Finance appoints Mundra as non-executive chairman
PRESS TRUST OF INDIA Mumbai, August 12
MORTGAGE PLAYER INDI-ABULLS Housing Finance (IBH) on Wednesday said former RBI deputy governor SS Mundra has been appointed as its non-executive chairman with immediate effect.
Mundra had joined the board of IBH in 2018 as an independent director.
The company said executive chairman Sameer Gehlaut has taken up the position of chief executive officer of another listed firm promoted by him - Indiabulls Ventures. "Subhash Sheoratan Mundra, ex-deputy governor of the Reserve Bank of India, who joined the board of Indiabulls Housing Finance in 2018 as an independent director, has been appointed by the board as non-executive chairman of the company with immediate effect," IBH said in a release. Commenting on his appointment, Mundra said, "I am happy to take over as the non-executive chairman of Indiabulls Housing Finance. The company has taken significant strides over the years under the able leadership of Gehlaut, and the board appreciated his desire to engage in another phase of institution building." Going forward, Gehlaut will focus full time on the chief executive's role at Indiabulls Ventures for growing its consumer business in finance and healthcare on App Dhani, the company said.

दृष्टीने राजीनामा द्यावा, अशी मागणी करतानाच आदित्य ठाकरे यांनी राजीनामा दिलाच पाहिजे, अशी ठाम मागणी भाजप नेते माजी खासदार निलेश राणे यांनी केली आहे. यावेळी त्यांनी '२६/११'च्या मुंबईवरील दहशतवादी हल्ल्यावेळी तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री विलासराव देशमुख यांनी नैतिक जबाबदारी स्वीकारून राजीनामा दिल्याची आठवण करून दिली.
अभिनेता सुशांत सिंह राजपूत याच्या आत्महत्या प्रकरणी सर्वोच्च न्यायालयामध्ये सूनावणीला सूरुवात झाली आहे. या प्रकरणामध्ये पाटणा पोलिसांकडे सुशांतच्या वडिलांनी दाखल केलेली तक्रार ग्राह्य धरून बिहार पोलिसांनी चौकशी न करता या प्रकरणाची चौकशी मंबई पोलिसांना करू द्यावी, यासाठी याचिका दाखल करण्यात आली आहे. मात्र, या सुनावणीदम्यान महाराष्ट्राचे पर्यटनमंत्री आदित्य ठाकरे यांच्या नावाचा उल्लेख सर्वोच्च न्यायालयामध्ये झाल्याचा दावा भाजपचे निलेश राणे यांनी केला आहे. त्यामुळेच मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे आणि त्याचे पुत्र आदित्य ठाकरे यांना राजीनामा द्यावा लागणार

मुंबई : संस्कृत भाषा सर्वसामान्यांना अवगत असावी म्हणून 'संस्कृत भाषा संस्थे'तर्फे सर्वांसाठी संस्कृतचे वर्ग घेण्यात येणार आहेत. संस्कृत ही गीर्वाणवाणी आहे असे म्हटले जाते. माणसालाही देवाच्या सान्निध्यात राहावेसे वाटते. म्हणूनच तो पर्यटनाच्या नावाखाली विविध मंदिरांना भेटी देतो. निसर्गात देव असतो म्हणून तो निसर्गपर्यटनाचा आनंद घेतो. म्हणजे देव देव्हाऱ्यात नसून तो चराचरात असतो. बहतांश ग्रंथ हे संस्कृतमध्ये लिहिलेले आहेत. अशी ही संस्कृत भाषा सर्वसामान्यांना अवगत असावी म्हणून 'संस्कृत भाषा संस्थेतर्फे 'संस्कतचे वर्ग होणार आहेत. यासाठी विरजण पडले होते. संस्कृतच्या पूर्व ज्ञानाची आणि वयाचीही अट नाही. ऑनलाईन संस्कृत वर्गासाठी दादर (९८३३१६०२२४), मालाड (८०९७७८८६६०), दहिसर (९८२००४८४०४), ठाणे (९८२०१२९२३७) या असे आवाहन 'संस्कृत भाषा संस्थेतर्फे करण्यात आले आहे.

मुंबईवर झालेल्या '२६/११'च्या दहशतवादी हल्ल्यानंतर तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री विलासराव देशमुख यांनी निर्माते रामगोपाल वर्मा, रितेश देशमुख यांच्यासह ताज हॉटेलमध्ये जाऊन पाहणी केली होती. विलासराव देशमुख यांचा मुलगा रितेश देशमुख चित्रपट क्षेत्रात आहे. रितेश आणि रामगोपाल वर्मा यांचे घनिष्ठ संबंध लक्षात घेता अशा घटनेवर चित्रपट बनवायला रामगोपाल वर्मा यांना मुख्यमंत्रिपदाचा दुरुपयोग करून मदत होत असल्याचा आरोप त्यावेळी करण्यात आला होता. या आरोपामूळे नैतिक जबाबदारी स्वीकारून विलासराव देशमुख यांनी त्यावेळी राजीनामा दिला होता.

मुंबई, दि. १२ (प्रतिनिधी): कोरोनावर उपचार घेताना खासगी कोविड रुग्णालये त्यांच्या नातेवाईकांना लाखो रकमेची बिले देऊन त्रस्त करत आहेत. मात्र त्यांच्याकडे आरोग्यविमा आहे, अशा रुग्णांच्या नातेवाईकांकडून सक्तीने कॅशलेस व्यवहार करण्यात यावेत, अशी मागणी भाजपचे आमदार नितेश राणे यांनी आरोग्यमंत्री राजेश टोपे यांच्याकडे पत्राद्वारे केली आहे. तसेच किट आणि निर्जंतुकीकरणाच्या खर्चाचाही आरोग्य विम्यात समावेश करावा असेही त्यांनी आरोग्यमंत्र्यांना सूचविले आहे.

महानगरपालिकेचा खुलासा
मुंबई, दि. १२ (प्रतिनिधी) : कृत्रिम तलावाबरोबरच समुद्रातही गणेशमूर्ती विसर्जन करण्यात येणार असल्याचे महापालिकेतर्फे सांगण्यात आले.
आल्याचे वृत्त समाजमाध्यमांत प्रसारित होत आहे. मात्र, पालिका प्रशासनाने गणेशमूर्तींचे समुद्रात विसर्जन करण्यावर बंदी घातलेली नाही, असा खुलासा करण्यात आला आहे. महापालिकेतर्फे बृहन्मुंबई क्षेत्रात १६७ कृत्रिम तलाव तयार करण्यात आली असून सामाजिक दरीकरण राखून कृत्रिम तलावात अधिक प्रमाणात गणेशाचे विसर्जन करावे, असे आवाहनही करण्यात येत आहे.
'कोविड १९'च्या पार्श्वभूमीवर राज्य शासनाने दिलेल्या निर्दे शांनुसार यंदाचा गणेशोत्सव साधेपणाने, गर्दी टाळून व आवश्यक ती खबरदारी घेऊन साजरा करण्याच्या सूचना आणि आवाहन यापूर्वीच पालिकेनेही केले आहे.
श्रीगणेशभक्तांच्या, नागरिकांच्या सुविधेसाठी महापालिका क्षेत्रात विविध ठिकाणी अधिक संख्येने कृत्रिम तलाव तयार करण्याचे निर्देश महापालिकेच्या विभागीय कार्यालयांना यापूर्वीच देण्यात आले आहेत. आजपर्यंत १६७ कृत्रिम तलाव तयार करण्याचे नियोजन करण्यात आले आहे. तरीही समुद्रात विसर्जन करण्यावर महापालिकेने बंदी घातलेली नाही. समुद्रकिनार्या लगतच्या एक ते दोन किलो मीटरच्या परिसरात राहणाऱ्या गणेशभक्तांनी आपल्या गणेशमर्तींचे विसर्जन समद्रात करण्यास हरकत नाही. जे भाविक समदालगत राहत नाहीत अशांनी प्राधान्याने घरच्या–घरी किंवा कृत्रिम तलावातच गणेशमूर्तींचे विसर्जन करावे, अशी महापालिका प्रशासनाची सूचना आहे. महापालिका प्रशासन व राज्य शासन यांनी वेळोवेळी केलेल्या सूचना/आवाहनाचे पालन करावे. त्याचबरोबर 'कोविड १९' च्या पार्श्वभूमीवर शारीरिक दूरीकरण, मास्क, सॅनिटायझर वापरून हा उत्सव पार पाडावा, असे आवाहन पालिकेने केलेले आहे.
'घागर उताणी रे...गोविंदा! मुंबईत संततधार; पण 'कोरोना'मुळे उत्सवाच्या उत्साहावर विरजण मंबई, दि. १२ (प्रतिनिधी): यंदा गोकुळाष्टमीनिमित्त मंगळवारी रात्री मुसळधार पाऊस कोसळला, बुधवारीही पावसाने तोच ताल धरला. दरवर्षी प्रत्येक गोविंदापथकाच्या तोडी असणार 'घागर उताणी रे गोविंदा' या गीताच्या बरोबर उलट यंदा परिस्थिती होती. ढगांच्या घागरी पृथ्वीतलावर रित्या होत होत्या. कधी मुसळधार, कधी संततधार पाऊस कोसळला, पण त्याचा आनंद लूटायला यंदा मुंबईसह राज्यभरात गोविंदा पथकेच नव्हती, त्यांचा उत्साह वाढवणारी, ताल धरणारी वाजंत्री नव्हती
करायला भाग पाडणाऱ्या उंचच उंच लाखमोलाचे आमिष दाखवणाऱ्या हंड्या फवारारूपी कृत्रिम पाऊस पाडायचे आणि लटकणाऱ्या दहीहंड्याही नव्हत्या. उत्सव उंचावर लटकू लागल्या. ते लाखमोलाचे रात्री उशिरा थकले भागलेले मलूल चेहऱ्याचे पथके नव्हती, की गल्लोगल्ली बालगोविंदाही घेण्यात येणार आहेत. सहा साजरा झाला, पण घरच्या घरी. बाहेर आमिष मटकावायला आठ ते दहा थरांचे गोविंदा घराकडे परतायचे. मात्र यदा त्याच्या नव्हते. यदाच्या संकटापासून बोध घेत पढील वर्षापासन संस्कृतीरक्षक उत्सव मानवी मनोरे रचून जीवघेण्या स्पर्धा होऊ अगदी उलट चित्र पाहायला मिळाले. यंदा कृष्णजन्माष्टमीच्या रात्रीपासून साजरे होतील, अशी आशा करायला लागल्या. कृष्णजन्माच्या आनंदामूळे मुसळधार पाऊस कोसळत होता. जणू हरकत नाही, असे सूजाणांकडून बोलले नाचणाऱ्या गोपिकांऐवजी स्टेजवर अचकट– यमुनेला नक्कीच पूर येणार असा पावसाचा जात होते. विचकट हावभाव करत नर्तिका नाचू लागल्या. शेवटच्या थराला जीव मुठीत गोविंदा पथकांकडून यंदा समाजोपयोगी उपक्रम घेऊन थरथरत्या हातांनी, लटपटत्या कोरोनामूळे यंदा दहीहंड्या नाहीत, गोविंदा पथके नाहीत. मात्र, गोविंदा मंडळांनी पायांनी आणि धडधडत्या हृदयाने एखादा त्याऐवजी सामाजिक उपक्रमावर आणि जनजागृती कार्यक्रमांवर भर दिला. धारावी गोविंदा त्या मटक्याला हात लावायचा केवळ येथील आर्यन गोविंदा पथकाने रक्तदान शिबीर आयोजित केले होते. काळाकिल्ला प्रयत्न करताना (सलामी देताना) दिसायचा. येथील महापालिका शाळेत रक्तदान शिबीर आयोजित करण्यात आले होते. गोविंदा एखाद्या वेळी तो मानवी मनोरा कोसळून पथकाच्या सुमारे ९० सभासदांनी शिबिरात सहभाग घेऊन रक्तदान केले. जोगेश्वरीचे अपघातही व्हायचा. उत्सवाच्या संस्कृतीत शिरलेली ही विकृती पाहन निसर्गही जयजवान गोविंदा पथक उंचचउंच थर लावण्यामुळे गेल्या तीन–चार वर्षांत नावारूपाला आले आहे. मात्र यंदा दहीहंडी उत्सव नसल्यामूळे या पथकातील तरुण स्वस्थ बसले उत्सवाच्या आनंदाकडे पाठ फिरवायचा. नाहीत. त्यांनी जोगेश्वरी परिसरात पथकाच्या गणवेशात फिरून प्लास्टिक मुक्तीचा दहीहंडी दिवशी क्वचितच पाऊस पडायचा. उन्हामुळे गोविंदांची पाठ शेकून संदेश देत जनजागृती केली. सध्याच्या कोरोनाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर लालबागच्या गोविंदा पथकाने विभागात निर्जंतूकीकरणाचे काम केले, तर ठाण्याच्या स्वामी प्रतिष्ठानने निघायची, त्यांच्या घशाला कोरड पडायची, उत्सवाचा निधी कोरोनाग्रॅस्तांच्या मदतीसाठी खर्च केला. मग आयोजक पाण्याचे टॅंकर मागवून
जोर होता. दहीहंडी फोडताना गोविंदांचा विरस होऊ नये म्हणून पावसाने संततधार धरली होती. मात्र, त्यांचा आनंद लूटायला रस्त्यावर गोविंदा पथके नव्हती आणि लाख मोलाचे आमिष दाखवणाऱ्या उंचच उंच लटकणाऱ्या हंड्या नव्हत्या. जागतिक महामारी ठरलेल्या कोरोनाने सगळ्यांनाच घरी बसायला लावले होते. मानवाच्या विकृतीवर विचकट हास्य करत जणू तो सांगत होता... मुबईत सततधार... पूढील ४८ तासांत जोरदार पावसाची शक्यता
मुंबई, दि. १२ (प्रतिनिधी): आठ दिवसांपूर्वी मुंबईसह कोकण किनारपट्टीत धुमाकूळ घालणाऱ्या पावसाने मॅगळवारी रात्रीपासून पुन्हा जोर धरला होता. पण, बूधवारी हा पाउन्स कधी संततधार तर कधी मूसळधार बरसला.
रात्रभर कोसळणाऱ्या पावसाने मुंबईची पुन्हा 'तुंबई' होते की काय अशी भीती वाटत होती. मात्र ऑगस्टच्या पहिल्या आठवडचात) कोसळलेल्या धूवाँधार पावसाने मुंबईचा बहुतेक गाळ वाहन गेल्याने यावेळी सखल भागांत पाणी साचण्याच्या घटना घडल्या नाहीत.
विशेष घटना घडलेल्या नाहीत. शहरात एके ठिकाणी घराच्या ४०.५७ मिमी पावसाची नोंद भिंतीचा भाग कोसळला. शहर, पूर्व-पश्चिम उपनगर मिळून १७ ठिकाणी झाडांच्या फांद्या पडण्याच्या घटना घडल्या. तसेच
पाच ठिकाणी शॉर्टसर्किटच्या आगमन करणार आहे. पुढच्या २४ ते ४८ तासांत कोकण, घटना घडल्या. मात्र त्यामुळे कोणतीही हानी झालेली नाही. मध्य महाराष्ट्राला पाऊस झोडपून रेल्वे वाहतूक आणि रस्ते काढणार असल्याची शक्यता वेधशाळेने वर्तवली आहे. वाहतूकही सूरळीत होती.
..मंगळवारी सकाळपासून बूधवार सकाळपर्यंत मुंबई शहरात या पावसामुळे पडझडीच्या १८.९४ मिमी, पूर्व उपनगरात ३२.३२ मिमी, पश्चिम उपनगरात झाली.
दरम्यान, गेल्या आठवड्यात राज्याला झोडपून काढणारा पाऊस पुन्हा एकदा जोरदार
पहिल्याच आठवड्यात मुंबईसह राज्यात पावसाने दमदार हजेरी लावली. या दोन ते तीन दिवस कोसळणाऱ्या पावसाने सर्वांचीच दयनीय अवस्था केली होती. आता हा पाऊस पून्हा एकदा मुंबईसह कोकणात दाखल होणार असल्याचा अंदाज हवामान खात्याने वर्तवला आहे. पश्चिम किनारपट्टीवर ढगांची दाटी होत असल्याने पूर्ण किनारपट्टी भागात पुढच्या दोन दिवसात मध्यम ते जोरदार पावसाची शक्यता व्यक्त
ऑगस्ट महिन्याच्या
करण्यात आली आहे.
तीन जिल्ह्यांना अलर्ट
ठाणे, रायगड आणि पालघर या तीन जिल्ह्यांना हवामान खात्याने अलर्ट जारी केला आहे. या तिन्ही जिल्ह्यांत काही ठिकाणी मसळधार पावसाची शक्यता आहे. तसेच हवामान खात्याने 'ऑरेंज अलर्ट' जारी केला असून मुंबईतही मध्यम ते जोरदार पावसाची शक्यता आहे. तसेच नाशिक आणि पुणे जिल्ह्यांत घाटमाथ्यावर जोरदार सरींची शक्यता वर्तवण्यात आली आहे.
