IT group ranked as leader in the Experton Cloud Vendor Benchmark 2016

Munich, Germany, 30 June 2016 – In the most comprehensive analysis of the German market for cloud computing services in the B2B sector, the Experton Group ranked the portfolio of CANCOM/PIRONET as leading – both in terms of its competitive edge and the attractiveness of its portfolio. The IT group is thus once again the leader in the “Cloud Vendor Benchmark” of the market researchers.

For the first time, this year’s Experton Cloud Vendor Benchmark has been split into two parts. In the results of the first part, which have now been published, the analysts assessed the cloud transformation & operation services and the attractiveness of the cloud services (aaS) of the participants on the German market. Amongst over 150 cloud service providers which Experton examined here, CANCOM/PIRONET was classified as leader in the following sectors:

– Cloud Transformation – Consulting & Integration

– Cloud Operations – Managed Services for Midmarket

– Big Data Transformation – Business Models via Cloud

– SaaS – Cloud Workplaces (XaaS)

– SaaS – Unified Communication as a Service (UCaaS)

– PaaS – Development Solutions (aPaaS)

– IaaS – (Hybrid) Managed Enterprise Cloud

– IaaS – (Managed) Private Cloud

Clear positioning

Experton also explicitly emphasised the positioning of the CANCOM Group as a cloud transformation partner. For instance, the popularity of the in-house Cloud Conference, which this year registered more than 650 participants, demonstrates the momentum of the cloud leader. The analysts also praised the consulting expertise and high customer satisfaction in their evaluation.
