CANCOM/Pironet receives seven Cloud Leader Awards at Experton Vendor Benchmark 2015

Expert opinion: “Exceptionally positioned to meet the cloud needs of companies.”

Munich/Cologne, Germany, June 10, 2015 – The Experton Group has presented CANCOM/Pironet with awards in seven market categories in this year’s Vendor Benchmark. The IT company received awards as a Cloud Leader in the Managed Private, Enterprise Public, and Hybrid Cloud market segments and for its Platform-as-a-Service, Cloud Workplaces, Communication-as-a-Service, and Cloud Transformation offerings. In its justification for the award, the analyst group emphasized the above-average attractiveness of CANCOM’s service range and its competitiveness in the named areas.

“Seven Cloud Leader awards is definitely remarkable,” said Heiko Henkes, Manager Advisor for Experton Group. “The awards clearly show that CANCOM/Pironet is excellently placed to provide comprehensive and holistic coverage for a wide variety of requirements for mid-sized and large companies as they assemble their cloud structures.” The ratings are also an expression of the degree to which the merger of CANCOM and Pironet have enhanced the attractiveness of the joint range of services.

Strict Evaluation Matrix

The Experton Group has now rated Germany’s cloud providers for the sixth time. The analysts evaluated several hundred market participants. The majority, however, did not make it past Experton Group’s strict evaluation matrix; only a few ultimately attained the title of Cloud Leader. The evaluation criteria of the market monitors include, for example, factors such as transparent SLAs, ISO certifications, and the quality of customer support, project experience, strategic orientation, and the potential of solutions to be developed further.

“The fact that we remain at the forefront of this increasingly competitive market and have even been able to improve in the evaluated categories highlights our efforts at constant optimization of the solutions we offer and at keeping a step ahead in IT planning in the interests of our clients,” said CANCOM Executive Board member Rudolf Hotter.
