The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— CANCOM IT Systeme AG realises takeover of the customer contacts and employees of ECS Enterprise Consulting Solution GmbH, Frankfurt/Main Jettingen-Scheppach, Germany, 02 May 2005 – Via its subsidiary, CANCOM Deutschland GmbH, CANCOM IT Systeme AG realised today the takeover of the customer contacts and employees of ECS Enterprise Consulting Solution Frankfurt am Main/ Bad Homburg GmbH, Germany. The company specialises in IT services and solutions for banks and insurance companies and has 25 employees. The experienced management team of ECS Enterprise Consulting Solution GmbH will remain with the company and enable the smoothest possible takeover of customer contacts. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price specified in the bid. Due to the takeover CANCOM is in a position to substantially extend its presence in both the fast-growing IT service and solutions market, as well as in the Frankfurt/Main region. The Executive Board of CANCOM IT Systeme AG anticipates a contribution to sales of approximately EUR 8 million in 2005 as a result of the acquisition. A positive contribution to profits is expected from 2006 onwards due to the integration.
