Corporate-news announcement sent by DGAP. The sender is solely responsible for the contents of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– CANCOM subsidiaries will be merged to create CANCOM Deutschland GmbH Jettingen-Scheppach, Germany, 28 May 2004 – CANCOM IT Systeme AG will merge its two subsidiaries, CANCOM media solutions GmbH and Tendi Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, with effect from 1 July 2004. The full-service IT systems house created by the merger will have extensive core competencies in the PC and Apple environments and trade under the name of CANCOM Deutschland GmbH. This will enable CANCOM Deutschland GmbH to function in Germany as the most important partner of Apple and Adobe, and also as the biggest OPEN licensing partner of Microsoft. The merger of the two subsidiaries will facilitate the generation of existing but as yet unexploited sales potential while at the same time optimising costs, which will materially enhance the company’s results. The Executive Board of CANCOM IT Systeme AG therefore anticipates positive synergetic effects for the CANCOM Group amounting to approximately EUR 500,000 for the financial year 2005.
