Based in Cologne, Germany, the content-management specialist has landed two orders for its pirobase standard software, one from the US subsidiary of Merck KGaA, VWR International, and the other from the Swedish branch of the Freudenberg Group. VWR International is one of the top global distributors of scientific laboratory products and services. The US subsidiary of Merck KGaA plans to use pirobase to manage its own intranet following the favorable experience which Merck has gained with this product. With the order placed by Freudenberg Household Products AB, PIRONET NDH has gained a foot in the door at the Freudenberg Group, which comprises over 200 companies in 40 countries around the world. These two contracts highlight PIRONET NDH’s leading position in the European market, a status which has also been confirmed by prestigious research institutes such as the Gartner and Frost & Sullivan. The value of the Company’s order books, which already stood at EUR 7.5 million at the end of the year, has increased to a new total of EUR 8.0 million.
