CANCOM SE expands business activities of the group with antauris AG

Acquisition strengthens the group’s regional presence and competences.

Munich, June 01, 2017 – CANCOM SE has acquired all shares of antauris AG, headquartered in Hamburg, Germany. The closing of the transaction is still subject to the approval by the antitrust authorities.

Antauris AG operates nationwide as an IT systems house and consulting firm, service partner and provider of system-related enterprise applications for datacenter solutions. The company offers specialized know-how and longstanding experience in IT security, managed services, storage and network management as well as datacenter structure and virtualization, amongst other things. Antauris AG employes 100 people and achieved revenues of approximately Euro 38 million in 2016.

The portfolios of CANCOM and antauris complement each other very well. CANCOM expands its customer base and business activities in the north of Germany. In addition, the broader product and services range within the CANCOM group will create added value for clients as well as employees of antauris AG.

Sven Freese, Executive board of antauris AG, will continue to manage business, thus ensuring the required continuity. Klaus Weinmann, CEO of CANCOM SE: “We are looking forward to working with the antauris AG Team and want to jointly drive further growth by combining our strengths.”
