Jettingen-Scheppach, Germany, 4 July 2008 – CANCOM IT Systeme AG sold its
fully owned, Swiss subsidiary, Soft-Mail IT AG, through a management
buyout. In Switzerland Soft-Mail IT AG sells directly to end users. Its
product range comprises software such as translation programs, telephone
book CDs and route planners. The company's new owner is Jens Schulz, a
former member of the board of directors who has held a top post at
Soft-Mail IT AG for a number of years.

In 2007 the company produced revenue of EUR 2.7 million with eight staff.
'We have decided to sell Soft-Mail IT AG as it no longer forms part of our
core business. This sale will not have a major impact on the results of the
CANCOM Group,' explains Klaus Weinmann, CEO of CANCOM IT Systeme AG.
