Jettingen-Scheppach, Germany, 29 July 2008 – CANCOM IT Systeme AG is to
acquire 100 percent of the shares in SYSDAT GmbH, which is headquartered in
Cologne. The purchase price of EUR 5.95 million will be paid out of
available liquid funds.

This step clearly shows that CANCOM IT Systeme AG is expanding its position
in the German systems integrator environment. As IBM Premier Business
Partner and HP Preferred Partner, SYSDAT GmbH is one of Germany's 15
biggest system integrators. In 2007 SYSDAT achieved revenues of EUR 80.3
million with 283 employees, a gross margin of EUR 20.7 million and an
EBITDA of EUR 1.5 million (German commercial code).

The Executive Board of CANCOM IT Systeme AG expects SYSDAT to achieve an
EBITDA of EUR 2.0 million in the medium term.

By remaining in their previous positions, SYSDAT's Managing Directors,
Manfred Hövel, Bernd Schüchter and Dr Markus Stöckler, vouch for the
company's continuity.

The contract of sale, which was signed today by the Executive Board, is
still subject to approval by the Supervisory Board of CANCOM IT Systeme AG.
