CANCOM IT Systeme AG disposes of Maily Distribution GmbH in streamlining of
investment portfolio

Jettingen-Scheppach, Germany, 13 June 2007

One of the leading German suppliers of IT infrastructure and professional
services, CANCOM IT Systeme AG is selling Maily Distribution GmbH, based in
Sindelfingen, Germany, to Softline AG. The company was acquired by the
Group in 2001 along with VendIT AG.

Maily, an IT distributor, focuses on sales of software to commercial
resellers. Since this segment is not part of the core activities of the
CANCOM Group, Maily Distribution GmbH has been sold as part of a
streamlining of the group’s portfolio of investments.

The company contributed € 10 million to the CANCOM Group’s sales revenues
in 2006.
The expected impact of the sale on EBIT earnings is already taken into
account in the guidance figure published on 15 May 2007. The Executive
Board expects consolidated EBIT earnings of at least € 6.5 million in the
current financial year.

The disposal was made at the pro-rata purchase price paid in 2001. Since
the carrying amount was reduced further by the goodwill amortisation
carried out in 2003, there will be an extraordinary accounting profit of
approx. € 0.5 million, or € 0.05 per share, in the second quarter of 2007.
