Für den Inhalt der Mitteilung ist allein der Emittent verantwortlich. —————————————————————————— CANCOM IT Systeme AG (541910) – französische Tochter akquiriert Wettbewerber Ebizcuss.com, das französische Tochterunternehmen der CANCOM IT Systeme AG, hat den Geschäftsbetrieb des IT-Dienstleisters KA S.A. mit Sitz in Paris übernommen. Der von KA übernommene Geschäftszweig hat in 2000 mit 56 Mitarbeitern einen Umsatz von 16 Mio. Euro erwirtschaftet. KA verfügt über ca. 30.000 gewerbliche Kunden und vertrieb bereits Apple-Produkte, bevor Apple Frankreich gegründet wurde. Referenzkunden sind z.B. Ernst & Young, Renault sowie die größte französische Tageszeitung Le Figaro. Durch diese Akquisition wird die CANCOM IT Systeme AG auch in Frankreich der führende Anbieter von IT-Lösungen im DTP- und Media Umfeld. Die seit Dezember 2000 an der Pariser Börse notierte Ebizcuss.com baut durch die Akquisition den Service-Anteil weiter aus und wird nun im laufenden Geschäftsjahr mit 110 Mitarbeitern bei einem Umsatz von 36 Mio. Euro ein EBIT von 0,6 Mio. Euro erzielen. The division acquired by KA realized sales of EUR 16 million with 56 employees in 2000. KA services around 30,000 business customers and already distributed Apple products before Apple France was founded. Reference customers include, for example, Ernst & Young, Renault and Le Figaro, the leading French daily newspaper. Through this acquisition, CANCOM IT Systeme AG becomes the most important provider for IT solutions in the DTP and media environment also in France. Ebizcuss.com, listed on the Paris stock exchange since December 2000, will further expand its services market share with this acquisition. With a workforce of 110 staff members, the company anticipates sales of EUR 36 million and an EBIT of EUR 0.6 million for financial 2000.
