Für den Inhalt der Mitteilung ist allein der Emittent verantwortlich. —————————————————————————— CANCOM IT Systeme AG (WKN: 541 910) faßt ESD Aktivitäten in eigenem Geschäftsbereich zusammen Die bisher als catalog reseller tätige CANCOM Direct GmbH wird in die tendi AG umgewandelt und spezialisiert sich auf den Vertrieb von Software, insbesondere per Electronic Software Distribution (ESD). Hierzu wurden Frank M. Salzgeber, bisher Apple Computer Deutschland, und Michael Marzy, bisher Vice President Sales & Marketing EMEA der MetaCreations Inc., zu Geschäftsführern bestellt. Aufsichtsräte der tendi AG werden: Walter von Szczytnicki, ehemaliger Vorstandsvorsitzender der Computer 2000 AG, heute unter anderem stellvertretender Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender der Ricardo.de und der Lintec AG Dr. Peter Page, ehemaliger Vorstand der Software AG und der Siemens Nixdorf AG, heute unter anderem tätig in den Aufsichtsräten von Brokat und der Net AG Klaus Weinmann, Vorstandsvorsitzender der CANCOM IT Systeme AG Die zukünftig in München ansässige tendi AG wird den Geschäftsbereich Electronic Software Distribution neu gliedern und zukünftig stark ausbauen, hierzu wird auch eine Expansion ins europäische Ausland erfolgen. The existing subsidiary of Cancom IT Systeme AG – Cancom Direct GmbH – will be renamed into tendi AG and will focus on software distribution, especially in Electronic Software Distribution (ESD). The corporate management will initially consist of two members: Frank M. Salzgeber, who worked for Apple Computer Germany before, and Michael Marzy, who joins tendi from MetaCreations Inc. where he was Vice President Sales & Marketing EMEA before. The Board of Directors will consist of: Walter von Szczytnicki, former CEO of Computer 2000 AG and currently member of the board of directors of ricardo.de and Lintec AG Dr. Peter Page, former member of the board of Software AG and Siemens Nixdorf AG, and currently member of the board of directors of Brokat and Net AG Klaus Weinmann, CEO of Cancom IT Systeme AG The munich-based tendi AG will expand and restructure the ESD business, and is also planning its European expansion of the business very soon.
