Francois Prudent, Gründer und Geschäftsführer der Gesellschaft, wird diese, als ein Unternehmen der CANCOM Gruppe, auch künftig leiten. Die CANCOM Gruppe vollzieht mit dem Markteintritt in Frankreich einen wichtigen Schritt in der Entwicklung vom Apple und Adobe Spezialist in Deutschland zum Marktführer in Europa. Die “The Mac Zone PC Zone SA” wurde 1992 gegründet und wird 1999 mit 36 Mitarbeitern einen Umsatz von ca. 106 Millionen FF erzielen. Dieser wird zu großen Teilen im Apple Umfeld getätigt. Die Gesellschaft ist stark im e-business engagiert und generiert bereits heute wesentliche Teile des Umsatzes durch ihren Web-Shop (www.maczonefrance.com). Zu den wichtigsten Kunden zählen zum Beispiel die France Telekom, der Elektronikkonzern Matra, der Mineralölkonzern Total und die größte französische Zeitung Ouest France. Neben dem Ausbau der e-business Aktivitäten ist geplant, bis zum Jahr 2001 ein flächendeckendes Netz von Apple Centern in Frankreich aufzubauen. Aufgrund der vorhandenen Logistik und dem erfahrenen Mangement sowie den guten Kundenverbindungen bietet die Gesellschaft, die in CANCOM France SA umbenannt wird, optimale Voraussetzungen zur weiteren Expansion der CANCOM Gruppe im französischsprachigen Raum. Francois Prudent, Gründer und Geschäftsführer der Gesellschaft, wird zukünftig mit 49% an der Gesellschaft beteiligt sein und beabsichtigt dieser längerfristig zur Verfügung zu stehen. Über ein earn-out-Modell wird sichergestellt, daß die CANCOM IT Systeme AG bis zum 31.1.2002 ihre Beteiligung auf bis zu 100% aufstocken kann. Anläßlich dieser Akquisition erhöht der Vorstand seine Umsatzplanung für das Jahr 2000 von 175,7 mio DM auf 200,7 mio DM. Gegenüber dem für 1999 geplanten Wert entspricht dies einem Wachstum von 79%. Die Umsatzplanung für das Jahr 2001 wird von 242,9 mio. DM auf 272,9 mio. DM erhöht. Für das Jahr 2001 plant der Vorstand, daß die neue Tochtergesellschaft in Frankreich einen Ergebnisbeitrag von 1,0 mio DM leistet und erhöht daher die EBIT Planung für 2001 von 9,0 mio. Francois Prudent, founder and Managing Director of the company will also direct the future business as a company of the CANCOM group. Entering into the french market, the CANCOM group makes an important step forward in the development from the Apple and Adobe specialist in Germany to the market leader in Europe. “The Mac Zone PC Zone SA” was founded in 1992 and will be doing 106 mio FF turnover with 36 employees in 1999. The turnover is done to a large part around the Apple products. The company is very e-business focussed and generates large parts of turnover through its webshop (www.maczonefrance.com) already today. Some of their most important customers are France Telecom, the electronic group Matra, the mineral oil group Total und the biggest frensh newspaper Ouest France. Besides the extension of the e-business activities there are plans to set up an area wide network of Apple Centers in France. Due to existing logistics, the experienced management and due to good customer relationships the company whos name will be changed into CANCOM France SA is offering optimum conditions for further expansion of the CANCOM group in the french speaking area. Francois Prudent, founder and Managing Director of the company will from now on have a 49% share of the company and intends to be with the company for a longer period. An earn-out model is making sure that the CANCOM IT Systeme AG will be able to increase their holdings up to 100% until January 31st in 2002. On the occasion of this acquisition the managing board increased turnover forecast for the year 2000 from 175.7 mio. DM to 200.7 mio. DM. Compared to planned figures for 1999 this corresponds to a 79% growth. Sales projections for the year 2001 will be increased from 242.9 mio. DM to 272,9 mio. DM.
