PIRONET NDH AG:Pironet NDH records growth surge in 2007

Pironet NDH AG / Final Results

Release of a Corporate News, transmitted by DGAP - a company of EquityStory

Cologne, 20.03.2008; Pironet NDH has continued its course of expansion in
2007. The rate of growth showed clear signs of acceleration, with record
levels set in terms of both turnover and earnings. The turnover reached EUR
53.9 million, representing rate of growth by 23.3%, following an increase
of ca. 10% in 2006.

With a slight improvement in gross margin of 43.1% (previous year 43.0%),
nearly all earnings showed a double-digit increase, with a number of peak
rises. EBIT rose by 18.6% to EUR 2.8 million; at just over 4% below the
turnover growth rate, this was largely attributable to the more than
doubled rise in R&D expenditure (EUR 3.6 million). As a result of the
improvement in financial results of more than 50% (EUR 1.0 million), EBT
grew disproportional to reach 27.1%. A negative swing of around EUR 0.4
million in the tax position was reflected in the annual profits figure
after third-party minority shareholdings, but profits for the year
nevertheless rose by approximately 13% to EUR 3.4 million, corresponding to
an earnings per share figure of 23 Cents (previous year 20 Cents).

The tangible improvement in the Pironet NDH Group’s profitability is
reflected in the cash flow statement. Cash flow from current operations
leapt by 108% up to EUR 9.5 million, helping to finance the continuing high
investment program (EUR 9.0 million) and leading cash including finan¬cial
assets held for trading by EUR 0.4 million to EUR 23.8 million. At the
individual share level, this corresponds to an amount of EUR 1.63 (previous
year EUR 1.61).
Pironet NDH continues to work without any bank loans.

The Board looks forward to the 2008 financial year with confidence,
anticipating growth in turnover exceeding the mark of EUR 60 million and a
further double-digit increase in earnings.

The annual report 2007 will be published on march 31st and will be
available for download at
