PIRONET NDH with record quarter

Cologne, 14 November 2008 - The world wide boom of recent years is
definitely over. After a tangible cooling off in the first half of the year
in 2008, the third quarter has seen a veritable collapse in the order books
for many areas of the industry. The consequences are to an extent the
arrival in the real economy of the effects of the chaotic relationships
that were present in the international financial system.

The German IT market is still barely affected by the results of the
financial crisis. This is confirmed by the latest survey by the German
Federation for Information Economics, Telecommunications and New Media
(BITKOM). 86% of businesses have felt no immediate effect from the crisis
on their trade. 60% of firms expect no negative consequences in coming
months. This indicates: the national IT market presents itself currently as
being still stable.

PIRONET NDH has asserted itself well in this environment. The Cologne
software and IT company has grown in 2008 from quarter to quarter and
improved its turnover in the months from July to September by around 18% to
record values of 16.2 million Euros. Cumulatively from the 30th of
September the positive growth is at around 10% and 44.7 million Euros (40.4
million in the previous year) after the 6 month closing value lay at 6.8%.
In the course of the year profitability has improved dramatically. The EBIT
margin rose from 2.3% over 4.1% to a current value of 6.2%. The EBIT in the
third quarter lay a good 60% above the previous years. The weak start to
the year could thus be swiftly overcome. Although the EBIT on the 30th of
March remained around 50% less than the previous year's comparable period,
the value on the 30th of September was, with 1.9 million Euros only 5% less
than the previous year. The financial result was 0.6 million Euros after
0.9 million Euros in the previous year so that the result before tax was
2.5 million Euros after having seen 2.9 million Euros in the previous year.

On the sampling day on the 30th of September PIRONET NDH disposed over
liquid assets of 21 million Euros as opposed to 19.6 million Euros at the
end of the first half of the year. This is a value per share of 1.44 Euros.
PIRONET NDH operates now as before with no banking obligations.

The agency for consultancy and digital media, nexum AG has also reported
its highest growth in the concern in 2008. Turnover has nearly doubled in
the firm.

PIRONET NDH is viewing the business to the end of the year with conviction.
The goal is to exceed the profit level of 60 million Euros (53.9 million
EUR) and this with an out of proportion result development. To do this it
is necessary that the trend in increasing software sales continues.
