CANCOM IT Systeme AG increases EBIT by 68.7 percent in the first half of
2007

* € 205.4 million in sales revenue in the first nine months, compared with
€ 175.0 million in the first nine months of 2006 (up 17.3 percent)
* € 61.9 million in gross profit, compared with € 42.1 million in 2006 (up
47.2 percent)
* An EBIT of € 3.9 million, compared with € 2.3 million in the previous
year (up 68.7 percent)
* Earnings per share of € 0.29 in the first nine months, compared with €
0.11 in the first nine months in the previous year (up 163.6 percent)

The CANCOM Group, one of the foremost German suppliers of IT infrastructure
and professional services, has achieved a significant increase in sales
revenue and profits in the first nine months, according to the final
figures. This can mainly be attributed to a growing demand for IT services,
hardware and software products, a further reason being the Group's
acquisition strategy.

The CANCOM Group’s consolidated sales revenue amounted to € 205.4 million
in the first nine months, compared with € 175.0 million in the same period
of 2006, an increase of 17.3 percent.
In the third quarter of 2007 consolidated sales revenue reached € 70.5
million compared with € 68.3 million in the same period of 2006, an
increase of 3.2 percent.

Due to the marked expansion in IT services, there was a significant
increase in consolidated gross profit in the first nine months, which was
up by 47.2 percent year on year, from € 42.1 million to € 61.9 million.
This means an increase of 30.1 percent in the gross profit margin, compared
with 24.0 percent in the same period in 2006.

Consolidated EBITDA was up 62.5 percent in the first nine months, rising to
€ 5.2 million after reaching € 3.2 million in the same period of 2006.

In the first nine months consolidated EBIT was up 68.7 percent, from € 2.3
million to € 3.9 million year on year.
In the third quarter of 2007 consolidated EBIT was € 1.3 million, compared
with € 1.1 million in the same period of 2006, an increase of 16.5 percent.

Consolidated net income for the first nine months exceeds with € 2.9
million, compared with € 1.1 million in the previous year, the net income
for the whole of 2006.
This gives rise to earnings per share of € 0.29 for the first half of 2007,
compared with € 0.11 for the same period in 2006.

Despite the complex introduction of a new ERP system by 1 July 2007, the
sales revenue and the profit of the past quarter have been increased for
the fifteenth time in a row.
