The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— CANCOM IT Systeme AG’s EBIT more than doubled in third quarter of 2006 * € 178.7 million sales revenues in the first nine months, compared with € 158.2 million in the same period of 2005 (up 13.0 percent) * € 41.5 million gross profit in the first nine months, compared with € 29.5 million in the same period of 2005 (up 40.9 percent) * € 2.3 million EBIT in the first nine months, compared with € 1.3 million in the same period of 2005 (up 77.7 percent) Jettingen-Scheppach, Germany, 6 November 2006 The CANCOM Group, one of the foremost suppliers of IT infrastructure and professional services, has achieved a further increase in its sales revenues and profits in the first nine months of the current financial year. The results for the third quarter of the year were particularly positive. One of the main reasons for the upward trend is the successful expansion of the Group’s activities in the IT services business. Consolidated sales revenues rose by 13.0 percent during the first nine months of 2006, from € 158.2 million to € 178.7 million, with € 69.2 million attributable to the third quarter, compared with € 52.5 million in the third quarter of 2005 – an increase of 31.7 percent. At € 41.5 million, the gross profit for the first nine months was 40.9 percent higher than during the first nine months of 2005. It rose particularly steeply in the third quarter of the year, to € 19.4 million – a doubling compared with the same quarter of 2005 due to acquisitions. Earnings before interest, tax and minority interests (EBIT) in the first nine months of 2006 were 77.7 percent higher than over the same period of 2005, at € 2.3 million compared with € 1.3 million. Consolidated EBIT for the third quarter of 2006 was more than twice as high as that in the same quarter of 2005, rising by 142.6 percent from € 0.4 million € 1.1 million.
