The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— CANCOM IT Systeme AG continues growth in sales and profit in the first quarter of 2005 – EUR 53.6 million sales in the first quarter of 2005, compared with EUR 51.7 million in the first quarter of 2004 (up 4 percent) – EUR 0.7 million EBIT in the first quarter of 2005, compared with EUR 0.4 million in the first quarter of 2004 (up 83 percent) – EUR 0.4 million profit for the first quarter of 2005, compared with EUR 0.1 million in the first quarter of 2004 Jettingen-Scheppach, Germany, 11 May 2005 – Final figures for the CANCOM Group show that its growth has continued in the first quarter of 2005. Despite the usual slow-down in trading over Easter, and the fact that there were fewer working days, Group sales are up 4 percent, from EUR 51.7 million to EUR 53.6 million. Group earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose to EUR 1.0 million in the first quarter of 2005, and earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) are up 83 percent on the figure for the same quarter in 2004, to EUR 0.7 million. At EUR 0.4 million, profit in the first quarter of 2005 was also higher than over the same period in the previous year (EUR 0.1 million).
